Make a joke diaper cake, if you know that mom enjoys a good laugh. Decorate your cake with cartoons, joke figurines and funny items.

Think outside the box for gift items to tuck inside the diaper cake. Perhaps include small gifts to pamper mom during the last weeks of her pregnancy. You might tuck in movie tickets, a gift certificate for mom to get a manicure before baby arrives, a gift certificate for a spa treatment, an IOU for babysitting services, a bottle of peppermint foot lotion or a spritz bottle of refreshing skin spray.
